SCHOOL SHOW
Preparations are well underway for our upcoming school show, “Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat”. The show will take place in the Mermaid Arts Centre in Bray from Wednesday 14th to Friday 16th March 2007. The students are working closely with musical director, Ms.Jackie Olahan, and choreographer, Ms.Aisling Doyle. Tickets for the show are €15 / €10 Concession, and are available by contacting the Mermaid Arts Centre at 01-2724030, or online at www.mermaidartscentre.ie.

A huge thank you to the Parents’ Council in the school, have been working tirelessly over the last few weeks fundraising and seeking sponsors for our school show. Without their help and support, much of what goes on the school would not be possible.
BOARD OF MANAGEMENT
A reminder to all that the next Board of Management meeting will take place on Monday March 12th 2007.
BASKETBALL
On Friday last, February 9th, our Second Year girls’ Basketball team faced St.David’s of Greystones at home. The girls put in a spirited performance, but in the end lost out by just 2 baskets. They are playing again on Tuesday February 13th. Best of luck girls!
U13 BOYS GAELIC FOOTBALL
Following their superb historic victory in the South Leinster Competition, our U13 Boys Gaelic football team played again in the quarter final of the Leinster League last Tuesday February 6th. The boys emerged victorious after a great match and they now face the Dublin champions in the semi-final. Well done to all involved and best wishes in the upcoming match!
STUDENT COUNCIL
Last week, members of the student council visited all the class groups in the school to survey each of them in relation to food choices and healthy options. The main focus of this survey is the school canteen. The Student Council now plan to meet with the owner of the canteen to discuss the findings of this survey.
FIRST YEARS 2007-2008
The assessments for our incoming first years will take place on Saturday March 3rd from 9.30am to 12pm. Students are advised to be in the school by 9.15am.
This will be followed by an Information Night for students and parents on Thursday 8th March. All intending first years are encouraged to attend.
MIDTERM BREAK
A reminder to all parents and guardians that the midterm break will take place from Monday February 19th to Friday February 23rd inclusive.
