JUVENILE GAELIC FOOTBALL

Well done to the Juvenile Boys Gaelic Football team who had a very convincing win on Tuesday, November 6th against DLS Wicklow. From the first whistle, CCA showed great enthusiasm and commitment and by the end of the first half they were well in front. The move of the half was a counter attack which started with the goal keeper, David Cullen and ended with Ciaran Byrne burying the ball in the back of the DLS net.  The second half was a different story with DLS scoring two early goals. However, their hopes of a comeback were dashed with Danny Kavanagh and Daire Killen dominating midfield whilst the Crosbie brothers did the rest up front.  Man of the match award was shared between James Lennox, Darren Gammell and Sean Heffernan who all put in impressive performances.

Final result: CCA 8 – 20             DLS 3-3
