LIBRARY VISIT
A group of 20 first year students recently visited Greystones Library for a workshop given by author Eric Maddern. They took part in storytelling and song sessions with the author. The theme of the day was based around ecological and environmental themes, with the aim of increasing students’ awareness to such issues.
LIBRARY
Special thanks to Ms. Angela Kelly and Ms. Claire Diviney who supervise the library each lunchtime. The parents play a huge role in our school and we really appreciate the fact that they sacrifice their lunchtime so that students can avail of the school library. This has been a great success, with many students availing of this facility during the week, and we thank all involved for their continued support.
LITTER DUTY
Well done to all students in the school who are involved in litter duty in the school. It is great to see so many hands on deck following each break, and the litter duty system has proven to be a great success and help for the cleaning staff in the school. Long may it continue!
