SCHOOL SHOW

Well done to all the students who were involved in our school show “Joseph”.  The show was a massive success in the Mermaid Arts Centre in Bray, with two of the nights being completely sold out.  The students put in a lot of work in preparation for the show.  A big thank you to musical director, Ms. Jackie Olahan, and choreographer, Ms. Aisling Doyle, worked very hard with the students.  The school community is already looking forward to next year’s production!

TRANSITION YEAR

Our Transition Year students have just begun their second work experience placement.  We wish them well and hope they gain valuable insights into the world of work.

U15 BOYS SOCCER

Hard luck to our U15 Boys Soccer Team who lost out in their match against De La Salle on Wednesday March 14th.  The boys put in a very good performance but were unfortunate in the end.

HURLING BLITZ

Well done to our first and second year hurlers, who emerged victorious in the hurling blitz last Tuesday March 13th.  The boys train hard and it is always great to see the results of such work on the playing field.  Well done lads!

ITALY TRIP

The final preparations are now being put in place for the second year school trip to Italy, from March 29th to April 1st 2007.  A very exciting itinerary is promised to all students, with visits to Venice, Verona, Lake Garda and Gardaland included in the four-day trip.  We look forward to hearing the travel stories from the students upon their return!

STUDENT COUNCIL

On Thursday last, March 15th, the Student Council presented a cheque to our caretaker, Mr. Vincent Hunt, in aid of the Romanian House Appeal.  The students raised money for this worthwhile charity by holding a non-uniform day in the school.
