HEALTHY EATING WEEK

Our annual Healthy Eating Week took place in the school last week.  There was a number of activities arranged to promote healthy eating among staff and students.  Students filled out questionnaires, held a quiz and were treated to fresh food salad during break time.

 

STUDENT EXCHANGE PROGRAMME

Coláiste Chraobh Abhann welcomes a group of 14 students and their teacher from Wurzberg today.  These students are taking part in a cultural and social exchange with students from our school.  While in Ireland, the group will visit Glendalough, Trinity College and the Book of Kells, while also going on a train journey which will give them an opportunity to view the beautiful Irish coastline from North Wicklow to Howth in County Dublin.

 

PARENT-TEACHER MEETING

A reminder to all parents and guardians of First Year students that the Parent-Teacher meeting will take place on Thursday 26th February from 1.15p.m. to 3.45p.m.  Classes will finish at 12.35p.m. on this day.  Transport is not guaranteed at this time.

 

SENIOR CYCLE OPTIONS NIGHT

The Senior Cycle Options Information night will take place in the school on Thursday 26th February at 8p.m.  All parents of third year students are encouraged to attend.

 

MIDTERM BREAK

A reminder to all that the school will close from Monday 16th Febraury to Friday 20th February inclusive for our midterm break.  We wish all staff and students a relaxing and safe break.
