Wicklow and Bray People weekly School Report
WELCOME BACK
We welcome staff and students back to the school after the Christmas holidays. We hope everyone had a good break and are back rested and relaxed for the new term ahead.
COMENIUS PROJECT
Coláiste Chraobh Abhann has joined up with schools in Turkey, Estonia, Spain, Germany and England to take part in a project called ‘Life in Harmony with Nature’. Over the next two years students will be taking a close look at their lifestyles and how they and their school community are part of the local environment. Small groups of students and teachers will visit the partner schools to find out about their work. The project has a website at http://vle.nhgs.co.uk/comenius for everyone to view.
MUSIC OUTREACH PROGRAMME
The Music Outreach Programme resumes on Tuesday and Wednesday next. Places are on a first-come first-serve basis as numbers are limited. The following is a list of instruments being taught on the Music Outreach Programme: piano, classical guitar, rock band and violin (new).
