Wicklow and Bray People weekly School Report

FRENCH EXCHANGE

A group of our French students will be making the return journey to France next week as part of the French exchange.  They will visit Lycée Thomas Corneille near Rouen from Wednesday April 1st to Tuesday April 7th.  During their visit, they will spend some time in school, while also going on a day trip to Paris and Rouen.

 

SCHOOL TOUR

A group of second year students will go on their school trip to Paris on Thursday 2nd April.  They will spend four days in this beautiful city, visiting many of the sights, including L’Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, Les Champs Elysées and indeed Eurodisney.  Bon voyage!

 

GERMAN EXCHANGE

Fourteen students will be going to Wurzburg in Germany today April 1st.  This will be the return journey as part of the German cultural exchange taking place in our school this year.

 

WELL DONE

Well done to Dean Coster, sixth year, who raised €1280 for the Children’s Cancer Fund in Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin.  Dean organized a sponsored leg wax in the school, with many students and one teacher participating.  Well done Dean!

Best wishes to our third and sixth year students who are currently doing their Home Economics and Music practicals, along with their oral exams.  Good luck!

 

EASTER HOLIDAYS

The school will close this Friday April 3rd for all students at 12.35pm for the Easter holidays.  Transport is not guaranteed at this time.  The school will re-open on Monday April 20th.
