STUDENT COUNCIL

Our Student Council elections took place on Monday last, September 29th.  Each year group had a number of candidates, who spoke at assembly last week, promoting themselves and their manifesto.  The results will be available shortly and we wish all students the best of luck.  Many thanks to third year students who organised the elections as part of their CSPE class.

TRANSITION YEAR

Our Transition Year students spent two days in Baltinglass Education Centre last week.  They participated in many activities, including hill-walking, canoeing, rock-climbing and abseiling.  All students thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

PARENT TEACHER MEETING

A reminder to all parents and guardians of sixth year students that the Parent-Teacher-Student meeting will take place on Monday October 13th from 4.15p.m. until 6.45p.m.  This is an excellent opportunity to discuss each student’s progress in this important year.

LITTER DUTY

All students are now involved in litter duty in our school.  Each class is allocated one week, during which they spend time after each break ensuring that all litter has been picked up and that the school is a clean and tidy environment.
