Wicklow and Bray People weekly School Report
STUDENT ENTERPRISE AWARDS
Five students from our school represented County Wicklow at the National Finals of the Student Enterprise Awards in Tullamore on Thursday last, May 14th. Gareth Byrne, Joe Bradley, Lisa McHugh, Peter Scales and Caroline O Grady are the young entrepreneurs whose innovative company “Key Times” wowed judges at local level, and were selected to represent the county. Their product, a compact portable transport information device, provides customers with up to date bus timetables on a keyring. The product has now been expanded, to include Aircoach and DART timetables. Unfortunately they didn’t rank among the top five companies nationally, but they impressed judges with their creativity and ambition.
