TRANSITION YEAR BUILD-A-BANK PROGRAMME

Coláiste Chraobh Abhann are currently taking part in the AIB Build a Bank challenge.  This is the first time in the school’s history that this is taking place.  The team consists of nine Transition Year students and they have named their bank TYB.  This opportunity will not only help these students in later life, but will also give students of the school the chance to manage their own finances by setting up accounts with AIB.  TYB have worked well after impressing the judges in the interviews, and are hoping that the launch will exceed all expectations. TYB will be making this a fun experience for students by giving a prize of a digital camera to the best saver.  AIB have been helping the students and have already said how impressed they are by the attitude of TYB.  We wish the students all the best for their launch and the future of TYB.  The nine students involved are: Michael Gaffney, Aoife Carey, Megan Carroll, Amy Diviney, Darragh Browne, Chloe Doyle, Jossy Cairns, Shauna Byrne and Tadhg Bentham.
