PARENT TEACHER MEETING

A reminder to all parents and guardians of sixth year students that the Parent-Teacher-Student meeting will take place on Monday October 13th from 4.15p.m. until 6.45p.m.  This is an excellent opportunity to discuss each students’ progress in this important year.

 

TRANSITION YEAR

Best wishes to all our Transition Year students who are beginning their first round of work experience next Monday, October 13th.  It gives students a great insight into the world of work and may help in their decisions on a future career.

 

UNDER-14 SOCCER

The boys’ Under-14 soccer team had a fantastic 4-1 win against Arklow Community College, with goals from Stuart Synnott, Kevin Coster, David Crosbie (penalty) and James Lennox.  The effort from the entire team was fantastic, with special mention for Ciarán Lawless (captain) and Stuart Synnott.

 

PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION

The election of our Parents’ Association took place recently and the following parents will serve as representatives on the Parents’ Council for the following year – Susan Archer, Claire Diviney, Mark Gammell, Gemma Kinsella, Val McGlynn, James McManus, Seighin Lennon, Caitriona Roache, Susan Mulhern, Mary O Sullivan, Sarah McWatt, Alanagh Ellis, Elaine Christodoulu.

 

STAFF INSERVICE

A reminder to all parents and guardians that school will end at 12.35p.m. on Thursday October 16th due to a staff inservice.  Transport is not guaranteed at this time.
