OPEN NIGHT
Many thanks to all in our school community who helped out on our annual Open Night which was held on Wednesday 2nd December. Parents and children from the community and beyond were afforded an opportunity to visit the school, view its facilities and meet with staff and students.
PRIVATE MEMBERS DRAW
Results of the draws in the Parents’ Association Private Members Draw are available to view on the school website, www.colaisteca.ie. The final draw is taking place this Friday, December 18th, offering a first prize of €1000. Many thanks to everyone who bought tickets for the draw.
GOAL MILE
GOAL are asking people throughout the country to raise funds for their organisation this Christmas by organising a GOAL Mile. The school is in the process of raising money for this worthwhile charity. Last year we raised €1250.
CHRISTMAS HAMPERS
Christmas Hampers are currently being organised by all tutor groups for the St. Vincent de Paul. Each student has been asked to bring in one item for the hampers.
GOOD LUCK
Best wishes to all our students who are currently sitting their Christmas Exams. The exams will run until Monday December 21st, with our annual Carol Service taking place on Tuesday December 22nd.
GERMAN EXCHANGE
In February 2010, thirteen Transition Year students will host thirteen students from Wurzburg, Germany, as part of the Wicklow and Bray partnership with Wurzburg.
CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS
The school will close at 12.35p.m. on Tuesday December 22nd and will re-open on Thursday January 7th 2010.
