We hope it will be a fun filled, eventful and entertaining evening for all who attend.
CRAFT FAIR
Many thanks to our caretaking staff, Mr. Chris Nugent and Mr. Vincent Hunt, and to the Parents’ Association, for organising the annual craft fair. The fair took place on Sunday last in the school and was well attended by parents and the local community.

BUSINESS TALK
The 6th year business class spent a day in the life of a marketing student last Friday when they visited Dublin Institute of Technology, Aungier Street. They were afforded the opportunity to talk to current students, ask the lecturers questions, and they also sat in on first year marketing students lectures in economics and business. Many thanks to Ms. Laura Cuddihy in DIT Business School who facilitated the day. The students found the trip very informative.

UNDER-16 BOYS GAELIC FOOTBALL
Congratulations to the Under 16 boys’ Gaelic football team who had a convincing win over Arklow CBS in the South Leinster under 16 competition. Man of the match went to Niall Crosbie, with honourable mentions going to Shane Doyle, Stephen Davis, Ciaran Byrne and Darren Gammell. We now go through to the quarter finals and await the winners of Baltinglass and Bengalstown.
SENIOR BOYS FOOTBALL
Our senior boys’ team recently travelled to Bray to play Presentation College. Despite the terrible wind conditions we played some good football and were ahead by a point leading into half time. Despite starting the second half reasonably strong, a lack of discipline and composure in front of goal cost us the game. Man of the match for CCA was Conor McKenna, with honourable mentions going to Darragh Browne, Darren Byrne and Niall Byrne. We now enter the Shield competition to play way to Arklow CBS.
