Visit of Ms Mary Hanafin T.D., Minister for Education and Science - Wednesday 25th April 2007

Ms Mary Hanafin T.D., Minister for Education and Science, visited the school on Wednesday 25th April 2007.  Students from Ms Tarrant's 2LOL CSPE class invited Ms Hanafin to a 'Question and Answer' session on 'The Seanad, Dáil Eireann and the life of an elected representative'.

During the visit Ms Hanafin officially launched the school's website, visited some classes to see students at work and spoke at a student assembly.

Before departing Ms Hanafin unveiled a plaque in honour of her visit and was then invited to a reception hosted by students and staff.
