The Dumb Waiter
Ben and Gus are two hit-men in a room in Birmingham, waiting to be told what their orders are from their boss. Only when a loud noise appears from behind the wall, do they realise they are in the kitchen of an old abandoned restaurant, but someone is still using the dumb waiter as a means of communication. This tense claustrophobic play builds and builds until the reason for their continuous waiting becomes deadly clear.
