CCA boasts a proud tradition of hosting an annual talent show, "Showstoppers". Each year staff and students alike spend months of time and labour preparing, perfecting and presenting their efforts. Showstoppers truly is a wonderful school event with input emerging from the whole school in all areas of the show.
Students from all years are all eligible to audition for the show. The annual show has proven to be very popular indeed with more auditioning than we could ever hope to facilitate. The production team consciously promote the inclusion of students from widely varying talent background and levels of experience.
The show can accommodate up to 100 students – which results in an absolute feast of colour and song for the eyes and ears. Our productions take place towards the middle of March running for one night only playing to a full audience. As a school we are very fortunate to be able to transform the school hall into a magnificent venue.
